    Geddy
Geddy and Gaon were tasked with investigating the rumor of a mammoth roaming the plains north of the Davelac.  While mammoths are not a rare sight, they are this far south and especially not during the summer.  Rumors were swirling that perhaps the mammoth was searching for something taken from it, perhaps even an offspring.  A powerful merchant named Rogark is also interested in the beast and hopes the rogues will return with a pair of valuable mammoth tusks.

Now on the trail of the mammoth, the rogues persevere through the hot and humid plains.  The bugs swarm and serve as nuisance to the hunt.  The rogues must keep moving though as a foreboding storm on the horizon is quickly approaching.

Geddy asks his chimpanzees and Gaon to stop.  He then crawls through the tall grass looking for the tracks of a mammoth but accidentally puts his hand into a mammoth “pie”.  Knowing that the mammoth is close, Gaon remembers the defense of Yoshim in which a pit trap was used.  He uses his massive hands to dig a deep and wide pit trap big enough to fit a mammoth.

Geddy believes a performance will help attract the mammoth but something strange is causing his chimpanzees to not work together.  Instead of attracting the mammoth, it begins to move away from them.  Now the storm is upon them, the winds pick up and bolts of lighting begin striking the ground at an alarming rate.

The bolts of lightning turn purple and become elaborate forks as they illuminate a stone outcrop in which a silhouette can be seen engaged in a ritualistic dance.  Lightning continues to strike around the rogues but they fail to notice that the lightning is striking various mushrooms in the area.  The wildlife in the area does not seem to be afraid of the storm but rather seem to be more docile and lethargic.

The mammoth is then seen slowly lumbering towards the dancing figure.  The figure makes a circular gesture with their hands as mushrooms sprout and surround the mammoth.

Geddy feels a sense of joy within at this glorious light show and a perfect venue for a show.  He starts to play Shell, his flute, which awakens the wildlife out of their lethargy.  The mysterious figure comes into view and she seems to be in awe of Geddy’s theatrics.

The woman begins to dance towards the rogues, the rumbles of thunder stop and an eerie silence fills the air.  The sky begins to crackle as Geddy’s hair and the hair of the chimpanzees begin to stand on end.  Geddy mocks the woman, telling her it seems the wildlife enjoyed his performance more than hers.  This gives the woman pause and she laughs.

Gaon notices that the rain is forming a rivulet running off of his shoulder.  This stream of water is full of sediment and the stone that makes up his body is beginning to erode.  The woman is now staring and smiling at Gaon.  Gaon clasps his stone fists together and smashes them into the wet earth.  This creates a tidal wave of mud and earth that emanates from around Gaon and knocks the woman off of her feet.

However the tidal wave of mud is also heading towards Geddy.  Geddy tries to run over the wave but trips and is cast into the air.  As Geddy falls, he realizes he is about to fall right on top of Mannon, the leader of his chimpanzees.  Good thing Geddy has trained with Mannon in circus acrobatics as they perform an impeccable move to safely land on their feet.  They embrace.

The skies erupt into lightning again as bolts strike the mushrooms surrounding the trapped mammoth.  Geddy calls forth for brothers of the wild to assist him.  Two orangutans emerge from the forest and grasp the sorceress.  The elemental magic of the sorceress reminds Gaon of Sorell, the sorcerer that created him.  It is confusing emotion filled with fear and affection.

The mammoth is becoming more and more distressed as it is surrounded by bolts of lighting.  It lowers it head and lumbers through the prison of lighting, scorching some of its fur and skin.  Geddy and his brothers move towards the mammoth and slowly apply salve to its wounds and comfort the animal.  Gaon looks deeply into the mammoth’s eyes and senses the animal’s profound sorrow and realizes the rumors about the mammoth losing a child are true.

The sorceress, who’s name is Estelle, is bound by rope to the mammoth and the rogues are helping the wounded mammoth along the tree line of the forest.  They come across a small hut and the mammoth trots ahead and trumpets.  A baby mammoth emerges, showing a bandaged leg.  It seems that Estelle want to raise an army of wildlife to strike out against civilization that has wronged nature.

On the way here, Gaon and Estelle have bonded and he notices her distress as they happen upon the hut and the baby mammoth.  Gaon reaches into his mouth and removes the Rune Scroll.  He hands it to Estelle who reads it silently.  Estelle’s demeanor changes as her lust for war fades.

Now back in Lemrock, Rogark approaches the rogues.  He begins to berate them that they didn’t kill the mammoth and bring him the tusks.  He tells them those tusks were worth a fortune and they destroyed a golden opportunity.  Geddy and Gaon move out of the way as Estelle appears between them and knocks Rogark on his ass.
